Safeguarding

At Radical Body, we aim to work with people who would otherwise struggle to engage with the creative sector. Health and disability are sensitive topics, and finding new ways of working can be a difficult and vulnerable process. Our safeguarding policy helps us to protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone we work with.

We have created our policy in response to the lived experiences of our staff, and the past four years of learning on the job. The policy doesn’t just meet our legal responsibilities; it also lays out the high standards of support we aim to provide to everyone we work worth with. We are proud of the work that has already gone into this process, but we recognise that there is always room for improvement. Our Safeguarding Policy is a living document that will grow and change as we resolve problems and continue to learn from them.
